Archives for 2008.
All of 2008 is posted here. Have fun reminising the past year.
12-31-08 - This is it. Not it as in it. Like when zombies are trying to take over the world. It as the end of 2008. Thanks to the many that have made this site #1 on the yahoo search engine.
For all of you out and about this evening, please be careful. Get a DD - designated driver. Have a safe holiday.
Happy New Year's.
Live long and prosper - bitches......
12-25-08 - MERRY CHRISTMAS.
From all of us at zombieparadox, we wish you and your loved ones a merry holiday season a a happy new year. Health and happiness to all of our dear fans.
12-17-08 - One solid week from today is all Christmas eve. I can't believe it. I've been asked 100 x's if I'm ready? WHat the hell does that mean? How does one get ready for a holiday? Does ready mean the bar is stocked for all of the visitors? Have pizza bits ready for said peeps?
The bar needs a little stocking. Other than that, I think the holiday is ready. I'm kind of sure that it will happen with or without me.
The posts may be a little later than normal during the next week. I will try to get this updated asap. Surgery tomorrow, holiday parties, and even a holiday or two are scheduled. Don't be shy, hit me with the emails, movies, or what ever you thinks possible.
Lots of blood and guts to ya.
D
12-11-04 - Wow, it's already been a week. Time flies when your busy. Besides this site, I have a couple other projects in the works. Stay tuned they will be posted here soon.
As of late, I been kicking the zombie flicks old school. Like 1943 late, remember titles like I Walked With A Zombie and The Body Snatcher? If not grab a copy and watch. Each show is around an hour long. They aren't the brain eating, blood and guts, no one survives zombie shows. Entertaining from a era long forgotten. When actors didn't make millions upon millions per movie. And they actually had to act. Warning for all of you - These are in black and white. Don't let that scare you off.
If anyone has a copy of Junk or Versus (Japanese zombie flicks) drop me a note. I'm having a hard time finding them locally. Maybe a trade could be in order. Let me know dino@zombieparadox.com
Many thanks to all the fans. Keep the letters and emails coming.
12-4-08 - So today, I pulled out a box set of old Troma videos. To my surprise, it was full of zombie shows. Space Zombie Bingo, Curse of the Cannibal Confederates, Dead Dudes in the House, and The Newlydeads. You may wonder how I could forget about these great examples of movies. Anyone that knows Troma, I have been a fan for many, many years, knows the outstanding quality of these.
All kidding aside Troma puts out a lot, i mean a lot of very independent flicks. Maybe not the big budget you may be used too. Their collection of films is overwhelming. Some are better then others. No, some are a lot better then others. For what Lloyd Kaufman and crew due to get these out is truly amazing. How about a santa zombie show? If any one wants to produce it, I'll write it. Insert evil laugh here......
Watch for these 4 to be added to the vault soon. I'm literally in the middle of the Zombie Diaries. Another film from our friends at Dimension Extreme. I watched Teeth - not a zombie show by any means - funny as all can be. If you have children, don't let them watch this.
12-3-08- It's hump day. I know this phrase started many years ago when the traditional work week was 9-5 mon-fri. What do we call it nowadays? No one I know works 9-5. Everyone has a different schedule. Some days, some nights, some a little of both.
Enough of the random banter.
12-2-08- Holy Hell its December.
I just received a few movies in the mail. Hard Rock Zombies, Zombies, Zombies, Zombies, and The Zombie Diaries. The three of these will be in the review section soon. I can't wait.
Come the first of the new year (2009), the site will be updated with all the new bells and whistles I talked about months ago. IT will be really cool. The chat room will be the bomb. Just keep it real.
We need new or really old zombie stuff. Info, news, toys, games, anything. Thanks for reading and making us the number 1 zombie site on yahoo. We do plan on taking over the entire web soon.
11-27-08 - Happy Turkey Day!!! Enjoy the family and friends. Everyone be safe. New stuff on Monday.
11-25-08 - Still ill. I really want to break into a Run DMC song. Don't have the strength, cough, cough.
Days are getting short. It's almost Turkey Day. Everyone stay safe and sound. More to follow soon. Good night.
11-24-08- I'm sick. Physically ill. Trying to get the beat down on a head cold. Of course it only hits me on holiday weeks. I'm strong and will persevere. Thanks for caring.
Did some fine reading this weekend. Finally read the Marvel Zombies 3 and Dead Ahead. Both are surprisingly good. MZ3 is finally being written to entertain the zombie crowd. Dead Ahead is just cool. Especially if you have ever been out on a boat. Check out the reviews in the book section.
11-20-08 - Finally getting around to updating this site. Things have been kind of heck tick around here. As a few of you may know, i've kind destroyed my right shoulder. My ortho man put a couple shots in it yesterday. It hurts more today then it has since the injury. A little surgery will fix it by the end of the year. I can't wait.
Also, due to lack of funding, I'm seeking a 'real' job. 40 a week. Something that pays until a sponsor actually pays off. I'm in the process of hunting sponsors down. Some blame the economy, others need at least 10,000 hits a day. I get about 1,000. This site is still the #1 site on yahoo. A few more hits from other servers and it will be good. Good for all.
On the zombie front, xbox 360 (xbox) just released Left 4 Dead. It looks friging amazing. Get it. Our local xbox is dead - 3 red rings of death. It's the ps3 for me. Resistence 2 is good. The co-op is so different. Goods and bads. Reveiw in games.
Summery - Left 4 Dead - get it, Resistance 2 - get it. movie The incredibly strange creatures who stopped living and became mixedup zombies - never look at again. Horrible movie. Can I have my hour of life back?
11-14 - Welcome Friday. It was a full moon last night. My friend - the Captain - joined me in a coke. It makes for nice evenings. He has left me this morning. The downside is I may have to go find his friend at the state store. Yes, for everyone out there that didn't know, I have to make a special trip to the local store to buy adult beverage.
Another association I belong to is having a little get together this evening. It just happens to be at a local brew pub. I wonder how did I get involved with this one? Could it be the beer? Ya. It's about the beer.
I watched a trailer last night for a new xbox 360 zombie game. It's going to good. The 360 in this house has the red ring of death. So until that's fixed no zombie killing. Hey Sony, When is the ps3 going to get a kick ass zombie game. Resistance 1 and 2 do kick ass. They are just not true to the zombie genre. Come on Sony!!!
11-11 -
11-10 - I just borrowed Day X. Yet another government experiment that happens in a small town. I'll let you know how it goes.
My brother was over this last weekend. He borrowed about 100 zombie flicks. He was amazed that I had three or four times that amount. It was kind of fun going over the shows. Some good, some bad, and some very bad. Will I see those movies again, maybe one day.
11-5 - Happy day after election day. We now have a new president elect. I for one like change. How would he respond to an all out zombie outbreak? That's going to be the first question I'm going to ask.
Election day is always interesting. The evil I vote against usually wins. What does that mean? It means my outlook is different then my neighbors. If you knew my neighbors, you would see. I need a drink just thinking about it. Maybe two.
Thanks phils berry for your daily email updates. I'm sure your mom's basement is a very nice place. Send me some lemonade and cookies.
Thanks to all for making us number one on yahoo.
11-4 - Get your sorry asses out there and vote. The country needs it, you need it, I need it. I haven't talked about my political agenda, nor will I in this forum. If you want to hear my views drop me an email. No leave that basement and vote.
And for the lamo's that didn't make the Halloween party, you know who you are - em and sc, we sure had a bunch of really good beverages of adult nature to tend too. Kids, remember to drink responsibly...
10-31 - Happy Halloween!!!
We are just having a small get together. Everyone have a safe and happy holiday. Don't drink too much of that pumpkin ale - its nasty.
10-29 - It's getting closer to my favorite day. The 31st of October seems to be the most fun a boy can have. Especially when it's on a Friday. A small gathering of ghouls is expected to show, eat, drink, and be merry. It's time to pull out the old school horror and reminisce of days gone by.
Still in the process of building a database to put all movie data into it. It will make things so much nicer. If your looking for info on old zombie flicks drop me a line. I can usually help out.
10-28 - Another week has flown by. Today I spent the day getting x-rays. Nothing like massive doses of radiation flowing through my body. No ill effects yet. It was kind of cool to see my bones. Most of them are where they should be.
Today a show I've been waiting to see is being released - Zombie Strippers. I haven't been out to gab a copy. If you have a spare sent it my way.
I did pick up a couple flicks to rummage over tonight - Trailer Park of Terror; zombies invade a trailer park. Red neck fun or just a zombie good time? We will soon find out. The 2nd is Jake Brooks Monster Slayer. Not sure what the 2nd flick is about - if you dont see it here. its not zombie.
10-22 - Yesterday I ran into a couple zombie flicks. How about these titles - Dawn of the Living Dead. It's a aztec or mayan zombie ritual show. Not the best. And one out of good ol england. Boy eats Girl. Nothing like the title leads you to believe. It's about young love. Boy dies, boys is reamimated by mom - yes, by mom. These will be in the movie section shortly.
10/21 - Can you believe it's been a week. I have been side tracked lately. I apologize.
On the 15th, my lovely wife had a birthday - of course we had to celebrate. Nothing too crazy since it was mid work week. Happy birthday girl!!
Over the weekend, we went to southern colorado. My grandmother had just turned 88. She's still sharp as a tack. Loaded up the car with good beer and headed home. Love CO, good beer and the lottery. What more can we ask for?
I've been adding reviews all day. Updates should populate shortly. I have 5 new movies headed to the movie section this week come back soon.
D
10/14- Sorry on the late post. I've gotten myself wrapped into another project. If you know me, you would know I get myself into many projects at a time.
Not much new on the zombie front. Quarantine was released Friday. I haven't had the time to go yet. That's in the list to due this week. It's a remake of REC. It could be entertaining.
This site is still number one on yahoo!!! Thanks for all of your support. We are growing.
10/10 - For the last two nights, I've stayed up with the boys and watched a multitude of zombie flicks.
Night 1 - Shaun of the Dead with Land of the Dead.
Night 2 - Fido and Flight of the Dead.
Overall, night 1 was much better. Don't get me wrong Fido is a good show. Remember to watch it tongue in cheek. It brings back fond memories of my childhood. Now go watch it and you may understand. Watch for more content to be posted this weekend. It looks to be a busy few days. I may be side tracked a little this weekend due to the GABF. If you don't know what it is, you don't need to know.
10/8- Today, yes today, MZ3 is out. I'm heading to the local purchasing facility in mere minutes. Am I looking to be disappointed? Maybe, then again it's zombies. The cover work is always good.
As I look at the end of the desk, I wonder what I am going to do with all of the zombie books piling up. Do I just box them and keep for the next uprising? How about selling off the lot? What about giving to charity? Charities love zombies ripping the innocent to small pieces of meaty chunks.
Still looking for the marvel zombie hulk figure - for a good price. For some reason I have spiderman and cap america. If any out there knows where I can pick one up let me know.
Thanks for all of your support. Zombieparadox is ranked number 1 on yahoos hit list for zombie sites. You guys rock!!!!
10/6 - Marvel Zombies 3 comes out this week. I've seen the comic online. I won't have access to it until Wednesday. The story is taking place in an alternate dimension. Set is limited to a four book issue. Will the money hungry Marvel conglomerate release Marvel Zombies 4? I would hope not. Gut feeling it will. Sometimes you have to put your prize horse out to pasture before you have to put it down.
I was excited for a few hours thinking that zombie strippers was being released this week. That ended promptly. Zombie strippers won;t be out until the 28th. If anyone has a copy they want to lend me drop me a quick email dino@zombieparadox.com. Thanks
D
10/01 - Can you believe its October? What's so great about it you my ask. I can think of two words - Oktoberfest and Halloween. Do we need any other reason to drink like our ancestors. If I can have a drink and scare away the evil spirits, I'm more than a happy man. I'll drink enough to keep the entire neighborhood safe. I'm just that kind of person.
Last night I watched the original Night of the Living Dead. George Romero's story that some would argue began the zombie craze in America. I have to admit, even after many years I still like this movie. The story is so good. Why can't more movies go back to their roots? If your to young to remember this show run out, run out tonight, find a copy, watch the darn thing. If your a true fan you won't be disappointed.
9/30/08 - Have you ever tried something in your life that you think will be the best thing ever. Only to find out that it really might not be the best thing ever? Welcome to my world.
After a couple years of self-employment, I've decided to hit the long road to big corporation job security. That sure does sound funny. Wish me luck. I've had a few interviews and begin to winder if my independent jet setting lifestyle is a factor. The most frustrating thing that has happened, is after two or even three interviews, no one contacts you. When did this become a trend? I'd rather have someone tell me to go to hell then tell me nothing. Would it be a bad thing to charge would be employees a fee for my time? How about the mileage it took to get there? I just might print up an invoice and ship it out to see what would happen.
Oh ya, go out a watch a zombie flick. Quarantine begins this weekend. It's a remake of a Japanese show - Rec. Check it out it could be entertaining. Keep up the emails its been fun trying to figure some of them out. All I can say is what the hell....
9/22/08 - Sometimes bad things never go away. Whether it be a cause of the itches, those outfits your parents made you wear in the 70's, or just plan bad luck. What am I trying to at? So you may ask. Over the weekend I learned that our old nemesis, Ralph Macchio, is back at it again. Not another Karate Kid flick ( that Oprah for that one). This time someone has paid him to do - yes you guessed it - a zombie movie.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead. This version is about an unemployed actor who finally gets his break in a off broadway version of Hamlet. The only downside is that it is written and directed by a Romanian gentleman who happens to be undead. Is the comedy going to ensue? I hope so. No confirmation when this will hit theaters or maybe just direct to DVD. Only time will tell.
9/19/08 - Remember the 80"s? How can you forget them? Bad hair, bad clothes, bad music and looking back bad movies. Not just bad, really bad.
Don't get me wrong, I grew up in this period. Some of the music and movies that I thought were good, turned out to be bad. Like, really bad. Why? Did I grow up? Was i drunk too often? Did my tastes change? Was there an outer life experience that I forgot about? Did Darwin drop by? What about my Nature vs Nurture upbringing? I think it's maybe a little of each.
My first recollection of the horror genre came when I was 4 or 5. My mother took my siblings and me to a drive in double feature. The two movies playing that night - Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon ( still kick ass) and the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre. What found memories of that I have.
Anyway, the 80's. Without this great time frame in movies, would any of the cgi or cool sfx be possible? I think not. How can I say anything too negative about one of my all time favs - Return of the Living Dead. Nothing like a teenage boy watching a hottie take it off in the cemetary. That shows still makes me laugh uncontrolably. And that isn't the booze taking. Good day - D
9/16/08 - We are back. I tried to be creative and add a few new plug ins yesterday. They didn't work so well. So back to the drawing board. A few minor changes did work. So I can be 50% happy.
No news on the zombie front lines. Maybe a few direct to video releases are hitting shelves in the next few weeks. I know of one that I will hurray out to pick up. More in that coming soon. Don't you love cliffhangers? back in the late 70's there was a weekly TV program that was all about the cliffhangers. I forget the name. I was little....
Come back for more. With Halloween around the corner, something scary has to be happening somewhere.
9/9/08 - Due to the riggers of everyday life, this site hasn't been getting the proper maintenance it should have. We here at zombie p have gotten back on the horse, wagon, whatever animal or non-animated item you would like to insert. Times are a changing. IN the ever so near future, this site will be so modern and fun that you won't know what to do with all of the information. This change is in it's final testing. Watch for updates. Come back soon.
In the movie section, Nothing new to be released this year on the big screen. Watch out for smaller projects to dvd only. There is at least 4 new flicks I'm aware of. What we are currently watching here are a few goodies. FIDO AND Feeding the Masses. Both are good zombie shows. Make sure you check them out and make sure you let them know zombie paradox set you there. Stay safe my little zom friends.
9/2/08 - Bad news on the zombie front. Nothing is planned to be released to the big screen this year. Yes, you read that right, nothing is planned. There are a few direct to dvd movies coming. No big names as of this post. Just a few independents. Does not mean they will be bad. Check em out.
8/26/08 - A crazy noisy day around here. The floor is being torn up and put back down. I never knew that floors were so loud.
Marvel Zombies 3 is a go. Release is first week of October. The story is supposed to take off from were the zombies 2 left off. Nothing like zombies in a alternative dimension. I hear they are hungry. Ghost rider is supposed to make an appearance in this set. Limited to a 4 book series - thank goodness. I love the artwork, hate the story. Yes, I will get the series. Probably autoed by one of the cover artists. I'm weird that way.
I just read an article about digital comics. Is it the wave of the future or just a passing trend? Of course wave of the future. Yet what about us old schoolers who like to have paper in hand? Can both be combined to form a happy medium? Probably not. Speaking of digital press, watch for the zombie paradox zombiecast. We plan on running a podcast that entails zombie speak. Plans to get it up soon.
8/25/08 - Good Monday. It's been a week or so since this was last updated. Life changes in ways we can't really control. So for your favorite zombie blogger, it's back to the streets. Pounding pavement to find find financial freedom. Only if my hometown had a lottery.
On a more serious note, I just received a few photos of Jason in the remake of Friday the 13th. He looks pretty scary. I'm still debating the zombie not zombie of the whole thing. He still did kick Freddie's ass in jason vs Freddie. I will not even debate that one. Anytime you walk out of a lake with someones severed head in your hand, that's an ass whoopin.
Locally, we had a zombie walk the weekend of august 9 - 10. Nothing like seeing the undead walking around our local tourist attraction i.e. temple square. The local gatekeepers wouldn't let the devil's spawn on the hollowed ground. Some great pics to be posted soon. My local comic book shop told me zombies are the new vampires. We tangled after that. We all know zombies would rule those silly little vampires.
As always if you want to argue, discuss, or suggest leave me a note. dino@zombieparadox.com
8/8/08 - Just read Last Blood by Bobby Crosby. He made a online graphic novel. It's not to bad. His goal is to turn it into a full featured movie. He's in process of casting and getting funding. Depending on how the funds go, is how big the production will be. Stayed tuned he has a great idea. I hope it works out for him. You may have seen Last Blood early 2007 as one of the free comic books on free comic book day. Wow that was a redundant sentence.
Other big news, one of my favs, Friday the 13th has been remade. It's scheduled to be released 2/13/09. On a Friday the 13th can you believe it. There's been talked about Jason as to what he is. If he's a zombie or not. Sure why not. I grew up with these shows so I'm obligated to get the word out.
Happy zombie hunting.
8/6/08 -
8/4/08 - Happy August. Trying to digest all of the info from Comic Con. There's so much of everything. Yet, only little samplings of anything that may be considered zombie.
I did find out that Marvel is releasing Marvel Zombies 3. I hope the story is stronger than MZ 2. The artwork will be strong. The cover is always amazing. Go support your local shop and pick up a few of these.
Still trying to get more info on the Marvel Zombie video game. As soon as I know anything, I'll break the news. This site is growing. It's had a record number of hits this morning. Keep it guys we need it for a bigger and better future here. Thanks for everyones support.
7/31/08 - Happy Birthday Taylor. Today my baby is 13. Sometimes I wonder how he made it this far in his short life. Just kidding. Have a great day son.
Just listened to a review about Dead Rising for the Nintendo Wii. This classic xbox 360 game is getting negative press from the fans of the game. I hear the wii cannot deliver on graphics as the other two systems can. Another rumor is that Dead Rising may be released for the PS3. That's my favorite system. Think of the extras and graphics that could be run through that powerful console. I can only hope.
7/30/08 - Site didn't see any changes yesterday. Every time I tried to change or even log in I was booted. Problem fixed. I've been trying to find any zombie gossip that may be out there. Haven't heard anything yet.
In August, there's supposed to be big news on the zombie front. What does this mean? It means that a few good(?) movies should be hitting the market around Halloween. I sure hope that is what it is. I will post as soon as anything is rumored or confirmed.
7/28/08 - I'm back. Hope I wasn't missed too much. Spent a few days in the Portland, OR area with my lovely wife. We found many nice places to live. I think we are settling on the Washington side of the river. Sorry Oregon folks, it just seems to work out with the kids. I met my good friend Doug. It was nice to sit down a have a few beers (sorry adult beverages) and converse. I hadn't seen him in a couple years, we picked up right were we left off.
I miss the user friendly cities like a Portland and Seattle. Glad to be going.
Finally finished a coupe more books. Check the section and let me know your thoughts. If you've read them great, if not go grab a copy.
7/22/08 - Changes are a coming. There will be no updates for a couple of days. My lovely wife and I are heading to the great northwest to look for a new home. We'vs outgrown or overstayed our welcome here. Time to look for greener pastures and a few more zombie fans. Looking at the Portland area. If you have any info let us know. Will be back on the 28th stay tuned. I'll miss each and every one of you.
7/21/08 - believe it or not, sounds like a bad tv show title, I have everything in the movie section up to date. That sounds crazy I know. As soon as I get that caught up there's more to get on this site. I have at least three more zombie shows in wait.
Lately, I've been watching the Italian version of zombies. Spaghetti zombie I guess would be accurate. These are usually produced on small budgets. So the special effects may not be the best. These are entertaining. I reminds me of when I was young and they had the sci-fi feature of the week on Saturday afternoons and late that night. Reminiscing music to begin playing now....
Everything else should be current tomorrow, if not sooner. Happy zombie trails. I'm out.
7/19/08 - It's Saturday morning, I haven't had my cup o'joe yet. As I sit here wiping out the sleep from my eyes, I wonder what am I doing. I've made a new commitment to this site. There's so much info to add here.
If there's anything you want to see or need to see, let us know. We are always willing to help.
7/18/08 - Updates are happening everyday. We are currently working on a short animation for the site. It should be ready by the end of next week. I'm excited, lets hope it keeps us on the map.
7/17/08- Lots of new pics to look at today. I found quite a few good ones in all sections. I've discovered that sometimes it takes a couple hours, sometimes a day, to get new info loaded. The problem is being worked on. Have patience my friends, this will all be resolved soon.
I've read a few really good stories this last week. All that info will be posted today. It should be there later tonight or first thing tomorrow. Thanks for all of your support.
7/15/08- Today is my 5 year anniversary. I can't believe that I have been married 5 years. Happy Anniversary Jess.
7/14/08 - Back in the office for a few new updates. Last week I finished off the set of xxxombies (review soon to uploaded) and finally found the issue of the zombie:simon garth I've been missing. You wouldn't think finding one little comic book could turn into a nation wide search. I did finish the horrorfest 2006 series. Ended with wicked little things. I was told it's a zombie film. I'm at odds with that one. Maybe the kids are zombies - are they really? It was entertaining, one of the better horrorfest flicks.
7/4/08 - Happy Independence Day. I'm taking the weekend off to spend some time with my oldest child. My lovely wife and a couple kids are going to grandma's house. Enjoy the fireworks and blow anything up.
7/1/08 - Over the last weekend, I finished watching 2 more of the horrorfest 2006 films. Not too bad. No zombies yet. For independent horror it's good. I've really gotten into one of the shows. Problem is, its on my ipod and I can't find time to finish it.
I've heard about a sitcom pilot filmed locally that is about zombies. I don't have all the details yet. I'm trying to find the creators and get an interview to see what this is all about. Prime time zombies? Maybe one day.
Last thought, for our friends up north, happy Canada Day. Everyone needs their own day sometime. More zombie info later.
6/27/08 - Friday. Who doesn't like fridays? There are a few updates. A couple movies have been added as well as a few new books. My lovely wife bought a nice 3 book set for me. I've enjoyed when she shops. She finds things that I don't even look for.
Any review that looks empty today should be populated by the end of weekend. As for myself, I've been watching Horrorfest 2006. Just finished that 8 movie set. Not to bad. Have 4 of the 8 of Horrorfest 2007 complete. I have learned that Horrorfest 2008 is a go. If your interested in what they are up to just link to their site. If this years is as good as the last, it should be fun. Cheers.
D
6/24/08 - ALOHA - really aloha. The family and I just returned from a magnificent trip in Hawaii. This site payed the price. I didn't check or update while I was away. That's the negative. The positive, I have a couple more reviews to add. Automation Transfusion, Hatchet, The Abandoned, and When Evil Calls are a few of the films watched. Lucky for my zombie friends, only Automation Transfusion will be reviewed here. When Evil Calls has one zombie in it. He's in it for maybe one minute. That doesn't count. I did pick up a few books, The Undead and the Zen of Zombie. They will be on here soon. Finally I found the rest of Marvel Zombies 2. There are two or three more items going on around here. I'll post about that soon. Thanks for your support. Mahalo. D
6/10/08 - Zombie Lake. The review is in. Interesting show. I have a few more movies and books to add. I just keep getting caught up in other projects. Many updates are headed to my little site soon. Beta testing has begun on the next gen of ZP. We are ready to become the best zombie site on the web.
6/3/08- Today is a big day around these parts. Demon is graduating. Class of 2008. A right of passage to some. Now there can be a focus on his favorite pastime of zombie hunting. Jokes aside, congrats, everyone here at zombie paradox is proud of you.
Thanks to all who have visited this site. It's starting to grow. Word of mouth seems to keep small sites like this around. If you need some info or want to give some, as always, let us know. Without you this site wouldn't be around.
I'm also looking for a copy of Night of the Living Dorks. If you have one, to borrow or buy, let me know. Thanks - Dino
6/1/08 - We are back!!! After a week of down time this site returns. Stronger then ever. Reviews of Zombie Lake, Let Sleeping Corpses Lie, Zombie Bloodbath the trilogy, re-animator, and of course Flight of the Living Dead are in process of being uploaded as this is typed. More books, games, and a few more stories are ready to fill the void left by a slow server. Our tech issues seem to be fixed (for now). As I've mentioned, a new format will be up shortly. So much more user friendly. Thanks for the support.

A couple of rather large chemical spills in the east. Low level nuclear waste in the west. Sounds like the making of a great zombie weekend.
I completely sold out and went to the new Indianan Jones flick last night. I have to admit, I'm a fan of the series. Mock me now. It was a fun show. If you go into it knowing that it's done for entertainment purposes you'll be fine. That's all I'm going to say about it.
A long weekend for most is upon us. Have a few beverages of choice, watch a bunch of old zombie shows, stay safe. -D

Diary of the Dead and Zombie Honeymoon are now in the movie section. That is soon to be a database of zombie flicks. I'm sure your as excited as I am. I ran into a couple of good books today. Report is soon to follow.

Diary of the Dead is to be released to video tomorrow. Be sure to pick up a copy. Support Romero, he needs us. This and Zombie Honeymoon will be in the movie section tomorrow. Until then.

News. George Romero is rumored to release Diary of the Dead part 2. Not a firm release date. I'll let you know when I have confirmation. In the process of watching Zombie Honeymoon. Review to be posted shortly.
5/14/08 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEMON!!! A special person in my life turned 18 today. Wish him well.

Finally!! I have a small belief that all of thebugs are out if the system. That being said, you will start seeing improvement right away with this little site. A forum and blog are in the works. Trying to find the best templates for the bandwidth usage. I will be looking for a couple forum moderators shortly. If you feel you have the knowledge and desire, let me know. Bribes also help.

I received a couple, yes 2, emails yesterday stating that my update looked like chinese script. I can't find that script or that it was even saved. Strange things happen at month's end.
Just finished up watching Dead and Deader. 89 minutes of bad acting. Someone had to take one for the team. I also watched Dawn of the Dead - the good one - original George Romero version. I hadn't watched for sometime. You forget what a good story line it is. One of the best zombie flicks ever made. Agree? I doesn't matter. If it's on the internet it has to be true. Right?
Heard of Legion of Death? It's in the Movie section. Read it now. So many movies, so little time. How does one fill an entire weekend with zombie flicks? We will try. Check back soon.
It really happened. I updated the movie section. Blade of Death is in there. Zombies Gone Wild as well. These shows are why we love this genre (I think). More coming tomorrow. It's going to be a good weekend.
Finally. An update. I had a few emails asking what has happened to the daily feed. I've been trying to get a new site built using a mac. My service provider doesn't like the new software. They are a little behind in technology. Review, they are forthcoming. I kow that sounds like a broken record - for those of us that know what records are. I'm focusing on the updates now. I have been preoccupied with other tasks. Check back later today and tomorrow for the four reviews I promised. I won't be disappointed.
Sorry for the delays. I took the weekend off. I'm trying to modernize the looks of this site. I went to the darkside and bought a mac. My web host doesnt like to run with safari. As I try out the work around, things may stay status que.
I finished the zombie series. Started on the Simon Garth set. I just love how MAX has ended one series only to start a new one where it left off. A few small things to take care of then the movies page will be updated. I keep getting tangled into all of the short stories out there.
Watch for new movie reviews tomorrow. I plan on getting Zombies Gone Wild and Blade of Death entered in the movie section. Have Legion of the Dead and Dead and Deader here on my desk. Any takers?
I just learned that on 4-18 a new zombie flick hits the big screen.
Zombie Strippers - starring Robert Englund and Jenna Jameson. Yes, that Robert and that Jenna. This film is running in limited engagements. Its supposed to be full of nudity and have a blood splattering ending. More boobs not enough blood is the rumor. If you have time, check it out.
I'm moving platforms for this site over the weekend. Kind of, getting rid of the pc and moving to the wonderful world of mac. I think the site will improve. Of course your feedback is always taken.
Zombie is now in the Book section. Sometimes we as living beings forget a few simple details in life. That covers my night. If you think about it, it has happened to all of us. Enough of the deep feeling crap. Go read Zombie. Simon Garth is soon to follow.
Sorry for the delay in updating this site. I've had a coupe technical problems. I'm in the process of revamping this site. Of course, to make it more user friendly. I just received Zombie the series 1-4. That will be added very soon. I have been asked what's happening with the movie reviews? That is my main focus. Expect loads of info on really good or really bad zombie flicks. Stay tuned for more....
My best-friend just informed me that there was a toxic spill in South Carolina. He advised me to stay away until the area is clear of zombies. This brought up a conversation that affects me locally. Just a few short 35 miles away is a low level radioactive waste treatment center. Should this cause alarm. YAH, It does. The story is much larger then I can add today. A topic to make you think - what's really buried in those mountains, what is really in that train car, or what is this semi-truck really carrying. We never really know do we?
Merry Fool's Day? Nothing to fool around here. I haven't researched why we have this faux holiday. I'm sure once someone emails me the reason I'll sit back and go - I remember now. Book/mag is updated. Just waiting for my Zombie book. I have another on the way of alien zombies. Can't wait. I'm in the process of revamping this site already. I don't quite like the way it flows. If you would like to add any inout please do. As always contact me at dino@zombieparadox.com. Tomorrow I will have a few pics of some of the new collectors stuff coming out. til then, D
Recieved a movie today. Zombies - Gone Wild by the Cohen Brothers. I think I know what to expect, yet I will not jump to any conclusions. Raise the Dead has been added to the book/mag page. Waiting for a copy of Zombie and Simon Garth. Both are good stories. I'm fond of the Simon Garth saga. Maybe next week?
Zombie World briefs are in the book/mag section. read it. Later in the week will be my new favorite. Raise the Dead. Stay tuned for more.

Watch for ZP review. George A Romero's fifth movie of Dead. This is going to be a good one. Remember when you watch this one - Zombie Fishbowl. Sounds like this film is going to be a keeper.
I'm currently testing the Zombie Paradox website scripts. This will be complete by the end of the weekend. Look for movie reviews, recent news, and many more events that are happening in the zombie realm. If anything peaks your interest contact us.
P.S. images to follow soon.....
